Product Spotlight: Lord/Sorcerer on Chaos Dragon

Every so often a kit comes along that isn't just an addition to your army — it's the centrepiece your whole display cabinet gets built around. For Warriors of Chaos collectors in Warhammer: The Old World, this week that kit is the Lord/Sorcerer on Chaos Dragon — a legendary monster returning to plastic for the first time.

Why This Kit Is a Big Deal

This isn't a small support choice — it's a 305mm wingtip-to-wingtip, 280mm tall dragon built to dominate the table and the shelf in equal measure. Twin maws breathe death on anything foolish enough to stand in range, one wreathed in dark flame, the other venting corrosive gas.

Four Kits in One Box

What makes this genuinely excellent value for a centrepiece model is the sheer number of ways you can build it:

• Mount a Chaos Lord on the dragon's back — heavy plate armour, a choice of shield or axe, polearm or sword, and two horned helmet options
• Or mount a Sorcerer Lord instead, with three head options to choose from
• Whichever hero you don't put in the saddle can be built as a standalone foot character — you're not wasting a single sprue
• Prefer the dragon on its own? Build it riderless, with two head styles and two sets of interchangeable horns and saddle gear — including the option to build the legendary Galrauch

101 plastic components, a 100mm x 150mm rectangular base for the dragon and a 30mm square base for the foot character, plus the full construction guide — everything you need in the one box.

Who This Is For

If you're already deep into Old World Warriors of Chaos, this needs no introduction. But it's also a genuinely satisfying pickup for painters who don't play at all — a dragon this size is a project in its own right, and the multiple build options mean it's just as much a display-case centrepiece as a battlefield monster.
