Pre-order & Backorder Policy

Pre-Orders

  • We endeavor to provide a release date on every pre-order product we list on our website. These Estimated Times of Arrival (ETAs) can be found within the product page of the item.

  • Please note that all ETAs are provided as an estimate as further delays can occur from time to time due to circumstances beyond Hobby Collectors Australia's control including (but not limited to), publisher shipping delays, supplier shortages or publisher manufacturing issues.

  • In the event of a delay, we will update the listing to reflect the new date of arrival and will endeavor to notify all customers affected whenever major delays (more than 2 months) occur. 

  • Products marked as “pre-order” will be dispatched or marked for pick-up as soon as stock arrives to our store, unless there is a pre-defined retail release date from a publisher that we are required to adhere to. In this situation, your pre-order product will be held from dispatch or pick-up until its official release date.

  • Unfortunately due to our order processing, packing and dispatching procedures, we will be unable to cancel or amend any part of any orders for, or containing, pre-order TCG products if the request is made within three days of the product release date.

  • At no time does a pre-order guarantee the delivery of said item should the item not be able to be delivered.

  • Orders with a Pre-order item will not be fulfilled until all items in the order are on hand and in stock. Please contact us should you wish to have an order part fulfilled.

  • Note: All pre-order items are technically the property of the distributor/manufacturer until items have been invoiced and we have made payment using "pre-order" held funds.

Back Orders

  • When you see 'Back order available' on products available for purchase on our website it means they will be sourced on demand from our suppliers when you order them. Products typically have this status when we have low stock levels in our store or if the product is not actively ranged in store but is available to order.

  • If an item is shown as 'Back order available' this means we will request stock from the supplier on purchase and will contact you with an estimated delivery date.
    Please note that this estimated delivery time we provide for these items is based on the manufacturer shipping times and supplier availability and can be subject to change.

  • From time to time suppliers are not able to supply products in the time indicated, and items are placed on back order. If it appears that your order will not be dispatched on time, you will be informed as soon as possible. You will be offered the opportunity to cancel your order at that time, otherwise, your order will be dispatched as soon as the items are available.

  • Back orders can be cancelled by ourselves or on behalf of the purchaser at any time with a full refund back to the original form of payment.
