Riftbound: Vendetta (Set 4) — Release Date, What's New & What to Buy

The Rift is about to get a lot more dangerous. Riftbound: Vendetta — Set 4 of Riot Games' League of Legends TCG — releases worldwide on 31 July 2026, and it's shaping up to be the game's biggest set yet. Before that, our Pre-Rift prerelease event runs this weekend, 24–26 July, giving you first crack at sealed Vendetta product days before general release. Here's everything worth knowing, plus what to pick up alongside it.

What's New in Vendetta

Vendetta shakes up the formula in a few notable ways:

  • 166 total cards, with the champion Legend count trimmed from 12 down to 9 — the smallest Legend lineup of any set so far, putting more focus on each individual champion.
  • 50+ Showcase cards featuring alternate art and rare variants, keeping chase-card hunters busy long after opening night.
  • New domain combinations appearing in the Booster Display for the first time, opening up deckbuilding options that haven't existed in Origins, Spiritforged, or Unleashed.
  • "Overnumbered" champions — a series of connected artwork spanning multiple cards. Ten champions have been teased for this treatment: Swain, Irelia, Ambessa, Mel, Kennen, Jayce, Akali, Nasus, Vi, and Jinx.
  • Crystal Rose Alt Art × Wild Rift crossover — six Crystal Rose alternate-art cards, tying into the Wild Rift mobile game, are pullable from every Vendetta booster pack.

Vendetta Sealed Product — What's In the Box

Each Booster Display contains 24 packs of 14 cards, drawing from a pool of 160+ cards including the 50+ Showcase variants above.

Here's what we've got in stock for launch, with live pricing:

Also on the way from Riot: Showdown Decks — Shen vs. Zed, a brand-new product type built for two players to jump straight into a match with a pair of preconstructed 56-card decks, two playmats, and a rulebook (MSRP $34.99 USD). Availability is via a randomised entry-window system through Riot directly rather than general retail — keep an eye on our socials and we'll flag it the moment local stock is confirmed.

This Weekend: The Vendetta Pre-Rift Event

This is the moment the physical store earns its keep — you simply can't get this experience from an online cart. Our Pre-Rift Event runs across three sessions, 24–26 July 2026, and for $55 entry you get:

  • A Pre-Rift Player Kit of sealed Vendetta product
  • An exclusive promo card, only available at Pre-Rift events
  • A shot at the lucky door prize, drawn each night
  • First access to Vendetta cards before the 31 July street date

Whether you're a returning Riftbound player or came in off the back of our beginner's guide, this is the easiest way to see the new set in action before it hits shelves everywhere else. Grab your ticket here — sessions are limited.

Gear Up: Complementary Products

Whatever you pull this weekend deserves proper protection and display. A few things worth adding to your cart alongside your Vendetta product:

If you're planning to play rather than just collect, this is also a good excuse to pick up a playmat from our existing Spiritforged or Unleashed range while you wait for Vendetta-specific accessories to land.

Get In Early

Vendetta is one of the more significant Riftbound releases so far — a smaller, more focused Legend lineup, a genuinely new crossover chase card, and a prerelease format that rewards showing up in person. Come see it first at our Pre-Rift event this weekend, or swing by from 31 July for full release. Full trading hours and directions are on our contact page.
