While other Shapers lead from the front, the Trail Shaper is a master of fieldcraft, responsible for identifying the perfect routes for infiltration and ensuring your kindred are always one step ahead of the prey.

This multipart plastic kit allows you to build one Trail Shaper—an experienced scouting leader who specializes in misdirection and high-speed repositioning.

Tactical Abilities & Gameplay Role:

  • Kroot Ambush: One of the most powerful redeployment tools in the game. This ability allows you to reposition the Trail Shaper’s unit and one additional Kroot unit after both players have deployed, or even place them into Strategic Reserves to strike from an unexpected flank.
  • Trail Finding: Keep your distance and frustrate your enemies. If an enemy unit finishes a move within 9" of this model, your unit can make a reactive D6" Normal Move, allowing you to slip away just as the trap is about to spring.
  • Master of Infiltration: Naturally equipped with the Scouts 7" ability, the Trail Shaper ensures your Kroot Carnivores or Farstalkers are exactly where they need to be to seize early objectives.
  • Classic Wargear: The model is armed with a finely crafted Kroot rifle and a Shaper’s blade, draped in a traditional hunter’s shawl and hood that perfectly captures the mercenary aesthetic of the Pech-born warriors.
