The prototype transformable mobile suit piloted by Earth Federation Lieutenant Gates Capa arrives in High Grade form with the Bandai HG 1/144 Hambrabi (GQ), from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX. Developed after the One Year War by the Gusta Research Institute, this alternate-timeline reimagining of the classic ORX-139 Hambrabi has been significantly revamped for GQuuuuuuX by designers Ikuto Yamashita and Kim Se-jun, with a slender yet sharp body and massive skirt armor faithfully recreated using Bandai's latest colour separation techniques.

A Transformation Never Seen in the Anime

This kit incorporates a genuine transformation mechanism, letting builders recreate the Hambrabi's Mobile Armor (MA) form — a state that, due to the unit's immature "magnetic coating" technology within the show's story, never actually appeared on screen. The head's mono-eye camera is movable, and the kit is highly posable to recreate the mobile suit's combat movements from the series. Armed with the distinctive Fedayeen Rifle and the special "Sea Serpent" restraint weapon, its firing sequence can be recreated using included lead wires for a genuinely dynamic display.
