Thirteen years after Bandai's original Master Grade RX-78-2 revolutionised plastic modelling, this Ver. 2.0 release brings the First Gundam up to modern MG standards of poseability and detail, faithfully recreating its proportions from the original 1979–80 Mobile Suit Gundam series.

All-New Inner Frame with Docking Core Fighter

A completely new articulated inner frame allows for more dynamic and realistic poses than any previous MG release of this suit. The transformable Core Fighter docks inside the Gundam's torso to form its cockpit, exactly as seen in the anime, without restricting the suit's range of motion. Snap-fit parts are molded in colour, meaning no painting is required to achieve an accurate finish straight out of the box.
