This is a towering model — the word "miniature" barely does it justice, as Mortarion, Daemon Primarch of Nurgle looms over the rest of the Death Guard and gives even Bloodthirsters something to look up to. Clad in baroque power armour known as the Barbaran Plate, covered in rust and rot with skulls, spikes, and Nurgle symbolism on every chunky component, mouldering robes, chains, and a rotten cowl hang from this armour, partially covering the pipes that feed his breathing apparatus — vile spores and disease rather than clean air.

Silence and The Lantern, Wielded by a Daemon Primarch

Mortarion is armed with two foul weapons: Silence, a massive rusting scythe with brutal chain-teeth, stained with the blood of worlds and capable of hacking a Reaver Titan to pieces, and The Lantern, an ancient energy pistol. Two modelling options let you pose the weapons down by his side or in a much more aggressive stance, while his huge, decaying wings are modelled with pockmarks, holes, and tears representing the horror of Nurgle's hordes. Plenty of extras round out this centrepiece kit — 2 Nurgling Drones carrying phosphex bombs hang from his armour chains, with a further 3 on the base, and the base itself is detailed with rocks being visibly corrupted by his foul presence.
